Other brands (of sanders) I've tried lasted only months before the hook & loop pads were shot. If it is of the same quality as the pad it replaced, I expect I'll get another 5 years of service from this sander before having to replace the pad again. This is a replacement pad for my variable speed Bosch 7250 sander -- a model which is apparently no longer in production and parts are hard to find. This pad arrived quickly, installed without complication and appears to work just fine.
If you have a problem and call them (which one of our people did) their response is "what do you want me to do.") in a crass smart-ass tone. The pad is just fine but our company will NEVER buy anything again from outlet tool supply.
